Why did we print this tract? (You can read this tract by clicking here)
Pride would say that "we are the ones who own the rainbow" and seek to make it mean something that God, the Creator never intended. The same goes for the word "Pride."
Yet God created the rainbow (and defines the word "Pride"). He set the rainbow in the sky as a promise not to flood the world again for the evil that abounded in the hearts of mankind at that time. We can read of this fact in Genesis 9:11 onwards, it reads "I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth."
We can change definitions all we want, but at the end of the day, God is the author and definer of what is right and wrong - what He hates and what He loves.
please note: We view all of mankind as equal because we are all made in the image of God, and all originate from the first parents, Adam and Eve,- true equality (not how so many people try to re-define it today). There is no discrimination in the Gospel – For All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and, " whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Acts 2:21
Although God promises He will never pour out His anger by flooding the earth again, there will be another Day of Judgment. This is one that will be experienced by all, on the Last Day
. It is because of this oncoming Day, that this tract was printed for all, that the reader might have an ear to hear the way to escape God's wrath on that Day.
Like the Ark was built to save souls from the flood, God has another superior "Ark" to save from the wrath on Judgment Day - The Lord Jesus Christ.
We are appealing, through this tract, in great love for the readers, that all might be found rescued in Jesus, on the Day of Judgment. Like the Ark was the only way to be rescued, Jesus is the only way to escape the flood of God's eternal wrath.
Pride is a big (if not THE biggest) hinderance to a person coming to Jesus.
"Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up." James 4:10
"for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble." 1 Peter 5:5

-- I thought I would add this while we are on the subject.
Around the time of writing this article, I came across a challenging video/article about pride. "10 ways to recognise our arrogance" By Chuck Lawless (no idea who this man is, but the list summarised here is very challenging (you can view the in depth article by clicking here)
1. You believe few people are as smart as you.
2. Your first reaction to negative is to be defensive or to cast blame on others.
3. Titles matter to you
4. You assume your organisation can not fail.
5. Not knowing “insider information” bothers you.
6. You are disconnected from your team members.
7. Spiritual disciplines are secondary, if not non-existent, in your life.
8. No one has permission to speak truth into your life.
9. Other people see you as arrogant.
10. This post (list) bothers you . . . or doesn’t bother you.

Charles Spurgeon said this:
"When you are half an inch above the ground, you are that half-inch too high. Your place is to be nothing."
